Although I wrote this book to honor the memory of Tyron Thompson, it became evident upon completing the first chapter that it was for those who have or will go through a similar journey. It’s about meetingthe moment and holding on to i even when it’s easier to let go.There are no set rules to deal with the residual effects of a cancer diagnosis. There are probably hundreds of books written about the duisease, the statistics and the rates of survival. This book is not about the disease but rather those unspoken, undefined residual effects. This story is not about the outcome but of the journey and the lessons learned. Love, commitment, courage, change and acceptance are all apart of the underlying theme.
